Lawrence Township Education Foundation Inc

The Lawrence Township Education Foundation of New Jersey is a nonprofit organization that fosters educational excellence, creativity, and achievement in the Lawrence Township Public Schools by providing grants for projects & programs, generating corporate & private financial support, and encouraging contributions of volunteer time.

We were privately founded in 1992 by community members, educators, and business leaders who recognized the need to devote additional resources to the Lawrence Township public schools. Since its inception, the foundation has contributed over $3,300,000 for programs and projects in all of Lawrence Township’s public schools.

Above all, the foundation promotes excellence in the Lawrence Township public schools, through grant programs that promote innovation in the classroom, training of our teachers, and involvement of parents and community. LTEF is also a charter member of the New Jersey Education Foundation Partnership.

Through its active board of trustees and with the assistance of our Executive Director, the foundation works with the Township’s business and professional communities to support the foundation’s activities and the public schools. The foundation informs the residents of Lawrence Township of the successes of the Lawrence Township schools and the programs the foundation has made possible. The foundation is also expanding the support it receives from the citizens of Lawrence Township that care about the quality of education provided by the Lawrence Township public schools.
