MGS participated in Manufacturing Day 2016 on October 7. Manufacturing Day is formally held on the first Friday of October each year and provides a venue for modern manufacturing companies to open their doors to the next generation of manufacturers and show them what manufacturing is – and what it isn’t. It also allows companies to address the skilled labor shortage and inform students and other visitors about the lucrative career opportunities that can be obtained at companies like MGS. MGS provided facility tours to over 65 visitors during the event, including high school students, teachers, counselors, parents and business partners of MGS. Our company regularly hosts facility tours throughout the year for high school and college students and their instructors, as well as for customers and other visitors. Manufacturing Day is held in the United States, Canada and Mexico. There were over 1,300 public events scheduled this year.
