Center for Hospice Care is a local nonprofit organization that provides end-of-life care in the home and often in skilled nursing facilities, as well as bereavement support services after a loved one's death. We have been the hospice of choice for over 12,500 families since 1985.
We are the oldest and largest community-based regional hospice in Eastern Connecticut, and are state licensed, as well as Medicaid/Medicare certified. We serve the needs of patients of any age with life-limiting diseases, including heart-related conditions, ALS, Alzheimer's, cancer and other illnesses.
In addition to hospice and palliative care, we provide bereavement support free of charge to anyone suffering the death of a loved one.
