The Santa Barbara Airport began its commercial service in 1932 with Pacific Seaboard Airlines, followed by United Airlines that inaugurated service from Santa Barbara in 1936. Three commercial airlines currently serve the Santa Barbara with non-stop flights to Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, and Dallas. There are a total of 21 regularly scheduled daily departures.
