John Glenn was a true American hero. He accomplished so much in his 95 years. They were many and showed him to be not only courageous man but an adventurous one. He flew many combat missions in the Pacific in a Marine Corsair like this one. He knew of Joe's artwork and autographed a couple prints to Joe.

Today on this the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, we remember this day, that will "live in infamy", and those that valiantly served and those that gave their lives. This F4U fighter was just one of many of our dependable aircraft that were instrumental in turning the tide of the Pacific theater of WWII in our nation's fight for freedom.
