Northern Lights Library Network

The Northern Lights Library Network (NLLN) Facebook page informs the public on services to libraries in the region and gives voice to all libraries regardless of size and type. NLLN serves 23 counties in North-Central, Northwest and West-Central Minnesota with a focus on supporting life-long learning by connecting people to the human, print and electronic resources across all libraries.

NLLN is a cooperative network of members in academic, public, school and special libraries working at a grassroots level to bring together all types of libraries in the region to discover, enhance, and share resources through administrative, technological, and educational support. Webinars, workshops, innovative programming, technology training, collection management and development are a few programs offered by NLLN that give Minnesotans a greater platform to succeed.

Libraries are at the core of a democratic society, defending the freedom of all citizens to access information to make informed decisions, read material that interests them, use technology successfully to stay current and access resources, and engage in learning throughout the life cycle.

When libraries work together, communities grow stronger and the lives of Minnesotans are enriched.
