Established in 1963 as a small, hand lettering sign shop, Archbell Signs Inc. has grown into a cornerstone commercial sign business in the mid-atlantic region. Serving all of Hampton Roads and the Mid-Atlantic region as well as shipping worldwide. In the late 70's when sandblasted signage was taking hold in California, Archbell Signs was the first in the area to bring this "new" media into our local market. Working closely with tombstone monument companies as well as close contacts on the west coast, we developed a high quality, custom manufactured sandblasted redwood product. Many of our signs made during that period are still in use today and require only periodic maintenance and repainting. If you find a sign that is twenty to thirty years old in this area, chances are good its an Archbell !! We continue this tradition today with our media blasted, hand carved, routed as well as many other types of signs.
