The American Lung Association in Arizona, Northern Arizona office, serves the counties of: Apache, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Pinal, Yavapai, and Yuma. Through cutting edge research, proven education programs and advocacy that pushes to protect public health, we are realizing our mission: to prevent lung disease and promote lung health. Our goal is to ultimately see cures, clean air and smoke free kids.

The American Lung Association in Arizona was established in 1912, initially to fight the number one cause of death among adults in the United States: tuberculosis (TB). While our focus has evolved as better care and treatment became available for TB, lung disease remains the third leading cause of death in Arizona. Our fight is constant and we are making great strides. For more information about the American Lung Association, the nation's oldest voluntary health organization, visit our national Web site.

The American Lung Association in Arizona is part of the American Lung Association of the Southwest, which serves Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. The Northern Arizona office is located in downtown Phoenix
