The Bloomsburg Police Department will review all comments after posting. Comments will be removed if they:
- Contain abusive, profane or vulgar language
- Contain acts of violence, sexual content, are overly graphic, disturbing, obscene or offensive material that would otherwise violate the law if published on this site.
-Include offensive language targeting specific ethnic, religious or racial groups.
-Promote or advertise services or products.

The Bloomsburg Police Department will not edit public comments to remove objectionable or inappropriate content, so please ensure that comments comply with this policy if you would like it posted.

The Bloomsburg Police Department recognizes that social media tools are available 24 hours a day, and we welcome comments at any time. However, given the need to manage resources, the moderation and posting of comments will occur during regular business hours or when time permits. Comments submitted after hours or on weekends or holidays will be read and posted and soon as possible if they meet the aforementioned criteria.

To protect your personal privacy and the privacy of others, The Bloomsburg Police Department recommends that people do not include personally identifiable information, such as full name, Social Security number, phone numbers, addresses, or email addresses in the body of their comments.

The Bloomsburg Police Department or any of it's members will not ask for your personal information via any social networking site for official use by it's department.
