Towne was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by Joseph J. Zilber after World War II to provide quality homes at affordable prices for America's returning GIs. Many of these original homes are now occupied by families that are third and fourth generations of the veterans who first bought them.
We have continued our proud tradition of providing customers with quality, exceptional design and value in every home we build. This has translated into the completion of over $3 billion worth of construction in multi-family and single-family residences, office buildings, hotels and interval ownership resorts throughout the country. Our construction experience includes distinctive residential housing developments in Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, Texas and Wisconsin.
