BMSG investigates how issues affecting the public’s health are presented in the media (see ). The goal of our work is to use our findings to support the media and policy efforts of public health advocates to create healthy environments for all communities.
To this end, we offer strategic communications trainings for advocates, community groups, youth leaders and others interested in shifting the public debate on health or other social justice issues. Our trainings are designed to help participants build the skills and capacity they need to make the case for policies that improve public health.
