What is the answer? - Part 3

Christmas Eve 2015 - Tucson, Arizona I had a strong desire to do something that we had never been able to do. For the first time ever, we were able to attend a Christmas Eve Church Service with our daughter and her family this night. As we arrived, we had a fairly unhappy, then 3-year-old granddaughter that we figured would not be too happy to sit through the service, so we sat on the back row just in case. She was pretty fidgety and active before it started so we decided to let her sit on grandma's lap. Just as soon as the service started, she fell asleep on my lap. Do you know, she slept through the entire service, never uttering a peep (except maybe a snore every once in a while). Just as things were wrapping up, she woke up. I sat there in amazement and appreciation, all at the same time, that God had provided us this opportunity... a God who can even calm a fussy child at just the right time. I couldn't tell you much about the service other than it was very nice, great music, and our family was able to worship together one Christmas Eve. Distance keeps us from things like this too often, but such is life. Oh, yes, about the picture -this was the scene we saw when we walked out of the church that night. What an awesome way to end that ever-so-special time for us. God put the moon right above the cross. As we approach this season, I hope we can let go of the politics, hatred, anger, whatever else is going on, and remember that there are people hurting this year, there are people that are lonely this year, there are people who need a message of hope. If you have that message, share it. Wise Men Still Seek Him.
