The purpose of the Holton Public Schools’ Facebook page is to share important information with parents of the children we serve and the Holton Public Schools’ community. We will update this page often to celebrate the achievements of our students and staff as well as other relevant school district community information.

The intent is not to keep negative or critical information from being posted, but to protect the privacy and rights of Holton Public Schools staff and students.

Comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a school or staff member will be removed.
Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.
Do not expect responses to every question or comment posted to this page. Contact the district directly should you have a question or concern.
Make factual statements. Blatantly inaccurate information will be removed.
Unverifiable accounts will be removed and blocked from this page.
Do not violate the privacy rights of students and/or staff.
Do not make comments intended to provoke others into inflammatory debates.
Do not use this page for solicitation in anyway including for political, business, or advertising purposes.
The page administrators reserve the right to post or not post information and remove comments for any reason. Page administrators also reserve the right to block individuals who misuse our Facebook page.
Holton Public Schools’ will continue to review these guidelines to support a productive Facebook page that serves as another avenue of communication to our community.
