Two years ago, our Pastor Ken Clayton, felt led of the Lord to challenge our church to spend “Fifteen Minutes with the Master” every day in prayer. Folks were encouraged to pray for themselves, their family and friends, for the church, for the United States, and for Israel. Christians usually pray for the first items, but not always for the last two. The signs of the end of time are being fulfilled, and the return of Christ for His church could be at any moment. We must be alert for the time of His coming. We feel the urgency at Pine Eden Baptist Church to challenge believers to pray for the spiritual awakening of our country, and for the peace of Israel. We have begun the “Ties That Bind” ministry as a call to pray for these two desperate needs.
What are we asking you/your church to do?
1) PRAY!
2) Join us in this ministry of prayer!
3) Lead your church in scripture reading and corporate prayer each Sunday morning for our country and for Israel!
4) Challenge believers in your church to pray daily!
5) BRING WILLING MEMBERS OF YOUR CONGREGATION AND JOIN US FOR A SOLEMN ASSEMBLY ON May 18, 2014, at 6:00 PM, HERE AT PINE EDEN BAPTIST CHURCH. This is a Call to Prayer specifically for our nation and the nation of Israel. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
