The Anoka-Hennepin School District is teaming with local law enforcement and community partners to host an informational forum addressing human trafficking and exploitation of youth. The forum, which is free to the public, is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, and will be held at Anoka-Hennepin’s Educational Service Center (ESC), located at 2727 N Ferry St., in Anoka. The community forum aims to highlight what to look for and what local resources are available when it comes to human trafficking and exploitation, and the event will include a presentation and panel discussion. People will learn about risk factors, how children are recruited, indicators of exploitation, where and when it happens, and what to do if you see it. Read more: http://bit.ly/2zBdU5B
