The mission of the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons (CAEPS) is to optimize the medical and surgical eye care needs for all people in the state of California through public and professional education
CAEPS is the only statewide organization representing California ophthalmologists (Eye MDs) and their patients. CAEPS activities include legislative and medical insurance advocacy for its members and the public.
We strive to provide vetted information and education to Californians that helps clarify web-based information about important eye health care concerns.
Members of The California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons are ophthalmologists throughout the state of California. They include physicians and surgeons providing care in both rural and suburban areas who are in private practice, in the Kaiser Permanente, Sutter, and other integrated practices, as well as academic center based clinicians and researchers.
Our member physicians are wholly dedicated to lifelong learning and professional integrity in order to provide the best possible patient care.
