City of Hudson

5
Hudson is a rural, home town community settled in 1833 and established as a City in 1893. Hudson is rich in architecture, with an entire Downtown filled with blocks of uninterrupted historical treasures. The Downtown is designated as a National Historic District surrounded by numerous residential homes, several beautiful historic churches, a Carnegie District Library, a historic railroad bridge, and a historical museum, all placed on the National Historic Register.

We invite you to discover the City of Hudson and connect with our small town, big heart living: Enjoy family, friends and memories in our neighborhoods, Downtown, parks and walking trails.

For the star gazers, Lake Hudson has been officially designated as a Dark Sky Preserve. The preserve is a demonstration project, limiting light and preserving night skies for enjoyment of all to see.
