Keith Brady, DVM - Dr. Brady graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. He began his veterinary career in Charlottesville, focusing on equine lameness and reproduction. In 2002, Keith co-founded Old Dominion Equine Associates, a practice that has grown to be a well-respected veterinary group. Jeff Beshear, DVM - A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Beshear is a graduate of Duke University and the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After moving to the Charlottesville area in 2000 to pursue his interest in sport horse medicine, Jeff married Emily Mastervich Beshear, a professional three-day event rider. Along with their young son, Nicholas, they own and operate Brickland Farm, a full-service boarding and training facility. Tiffany Snell, DVM - Originally from Northern California, Tiffany graduated from veterinary school at UC Davis School in 2010 with an Equine emphasis. Carly Cowherd, DVM - Dr. Cowherd is a 2015 graduate of The Virginia - Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Carly's professional interests include sport horse medicine, nutrition, and preventative medicine. Carly has completed multiple externships at Old Dominion Equine Associates during her four years of vet school, thus many of you are already familiar with her. Carly grew up in Montclair, Virginia. Prior to attending veterinary school, she spent some time working in the field of Bioinformatics for the Medical College of Virginia after receiving her Master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Eleanor Squires, DVM - Eleanor grew up in Norfolk, Virginia and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology from Old Dominion University in 2014. Eleanor continued her studies at Tufts University and in May 2019 received her doctorate of veterinary medicine. During her clinical year of veterinary school, Eleanor spent a total of four weeks shadowing the doctors at Old Dominion Equine Associates and is delighted to now be joining the practice. Her veterinary interests include dentistry, nutrition, and rehabilitation. In her free time, Eleanor enjoys hiking with her two weimaraners, Liam and Violet, and competing in lower level dressage with her off-the-track thoroughbred, Ted.
