Circle Of Hope

Circle of Hope has been serving victims of domestic violence since 1987. In 1990, a ten bed emergency shelter was opened. Over the years, a non-residential program was initiated to provide services to women experiencing domestic violence who did not need emergency shelter. In 2005, Circle of Hope constructed a 10,000 square foot shelter facility that is currently licensed to house 17 women and children. In 2007 we began offering off-site supportive housing to families exiting the emergency shelter. Circle of Hope officially serves Habersham, Stephens and White counties and provides victims of abuse an array of services designed to ensure barriers are identified, needs are met, and safety and stability are achieved. Funding comes from a combination of state and federal grants and local United Way, individual, church, civic group and foundation donations.
