Really, this all started over six years ago with our hole-in-the-wall British retail store. I always knew what I wanted but I wasn’t quite sure how to get there. Slowly we grew, we worked very hard for very little return. But during those first four years we were doing something very important, we were building a name and a reputation for ourselves. Those long weekend festivals – making Scotch Eggs at 3am only to be rained out the next day. Traveling four hundred miles to sell $200 worth of goods. It was hard work but we built a solid foundation so that when the Mucky Duck Pub – my dream - finally opened in the Fall of 2013 we already had a loyal customer base eager to eat our food and enjoy the unique atmosphere that we had created. For the most part, I have fulfilled my vision of creating a warm, friendly pub atmosphere with great food. I wanted a place where all were welcome, not just a narrow section of the population but everybody. I am very proud to say that I think we have achieved this level of diversity – yes, really! I am proud of ourselves but equally proud of our customers for all getting along together and really making this happen.
