Biking + Libraries = an excellent time! This looks like a fun event.
The good folks at Pedal Corvallis (our community bike share http://www.ocwcog.org/transportation/cascades-west-ride-line/cascades-west-ride-line/) are hosting a community ride on Thursday, the 21st at 6:00 PM, touring some of the libraries in the area. Here's their announcement (in plain text): Join the Pedal Corvallis Bikeshare Team for a Little Free Library Tour Have you ever wondered about those whimsical boxes of books throughout Corvallis? They are called Little Free Libraries, and have been built by your neighbors to share books. The Pedal Corvallis community bikeshare team invites you to a fun 2.5-mile bike tour of Little Free Libraries in the Garfield Park area, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 21st. To participate, meet in front of the Osborn Aquatic Center (1940 NW Highland Drive) promptly at 6:00 pm with your bike and helmet. A limited number of Pedal Corvallis bikes will be available at this location! Participants will return to this location at the end of the ride. The first 10 people to let us know they will attend this event will receive a FREE three-day Pedal Corvallis pass and will be able to use a Pedal Corvallis bike and helmet for this ride! Click HERE to tell us you would like to use a Pedal Corvallis bike. We’ll send out instructions for how to sign up for the three-day pass the day before the event. Others should bring their own bikes and helmets. You are welcome to bring books to share! Pedal Corvallis is a program of the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments (OCWCOG).
