As our name implies, FamilyCore understands that strong families, equipped with the tools and ties to succeed, are at the heart of any vibrant, tight-knit community. Formerly known as Counseling and Family Services, FamilyCore employs over 80 individuals and has served the Tri-County Area since December 15, 1900. While we have many programs and services offered, our main services include Adoption, Foster Care, Counseling, Youth Outreach, and Single Parent Support. FamilyCore is an affiliate of the Heart of Illinois United Way, Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, and the Human Services Collaborative, and is also accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). Our main goal is to maintain the integrity of family, however that may be defined, and continue "Strengthening Families for a Stronger Community."
