I, Carolynn Cisneros, am a clinical counselor with a BS in Psychology from Lander University and MA in Mental Health and Marriage and Family Counseling from Webster University. I am nationally certified and licensed to practice in the state of South Carolina. I have 12 years experience with adjustment related issues and specialized experience in treatment of life changing adjustment and addictions. I am a Professional member of the American Counseling Association, the International Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors, and the Association of Counselors and Educators in Government.

Professional Responsibility: It is the Counselor’s primary responsibility to respect the dignity and to promote the welfare of clients. While fostering the clients’ interests and welfare, the Counselor will encourage growth and development in support of the worth, potential and uniqueness of each individual client. The success of therapy is dependent on the client’s willingness and ability to use the tools and suggestions provided by the Counselor. I cannot guarantee that the client will get the results expected from the therapy requested. The Counselor and client will work together to develop a treatment plan that is in the best interest of the client with attainable goals that the client understands to be of the most importance. Routinely the client and Counselor will review the progress made toward the achievement of the predetermined goals and adjust the plan based on client progress. In the event I should die or become unexpectedly incapacitated, client records will be secured for five years, then disposed of as mandated by law.
