Napoleon Barmakian was a diamond cutter by day, and a baker by night. In 1931, his passion for well-made, nutritious foods inspired him to make a 100% Whole Wheat Cracker, packaged in a simple brown box. In the last century we’ve expanded to nearly 20 varieties of crackers and flatbreads, but we always make sure to keep the Barmakian Family tradition of quality and fair trading alive. Today, Venus is run by Napoleon’s grandson, Luke Barmakian. Venus Wafers was founded on simplicity. Our products are made from whole, all-natural ingredients. Every Venus cracker is certified kosher, vegan, and non-GMO. We are inspected regularly by third-party auditors, meet the strictest requirements set by the British Retail Consortium, and hold organic certification from the USDA.
