The Calhoun County Library opened in its new St. Matthews location in June 2010. As an SCLENDS member library, patrons have access to over 3 million books, DVDs, audiobooks and other items through the SCLENDS consortium.
The library is adjacent to the Calhoun County Community Development Center and Calhoun County Courthouse building.
