1 in 5 families is affected. 1 in 17 adults have serious mental illness. That translates to 232,333 Minnesotans. Guild Incorporated exists to help individuals with mental illness lead quality lives. On any given day, we are out in the community providing service to 800 individuals. The people we serve have illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. Many face additional challenges like chronic medical conditions, isolation, and poverty.
We work with individuals to help them obtain safe, affordable housing and avoid homelessness. We also help people find employment or pursue education, reach optimum physical and mental health, have recreation and socializing opportunities, and gain a sense of satisfaction with their lives.
