We're an early childhood education & development center offering year-round care to infants through GA Pre-K. We use the country’s leading scientifically based, research-validated, comprehensive curriculum, Creative Curriculum.
Using the NAEYC recognized Creative Curriculum’s observation and assessment tools, the staff at Dogwood Hills Academy plans activities and experiences each day that will promote each child’s growth in the areas of social, emotional, intellectual, language and physical skills.
With our balanced approach for the education of young children, each day includes both child-initiated and teacher directed activities. Daily reports are provided to keep our parents informed of classroom activities, along with periodic assessment meetings with our trained staff to discuss individual progress. This on-going assessment process begins when the child enters our program, and continues through their preschool years. At Dogwood Hills Academy, we believe this continuity of goals and objectives establishes the best framework for early childhood development and school readiness.
