Frederick House is a twenty-three room hotel in walkable, downtown Staunton, Virginia, the oldest city in the Shenandoah Valley. We're located near everything walkable in downtown Staunton — directly across from Mary Baldwin College, and just two blocks from the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and the American Shakespeare Center's Blackfriars Playhouse.

We're two blocks from Zynodoa, an upscale local foodie gourmet restaurant and bar and 5 blocks from The Shack, chef Ian Boden's widely lauded local food hideaway, serving burgers & etc. on Wednesdays and Thursdays and prix fixe on Fridays and Saturdays.
