Oakmont Fire Company is a volunteer fire company that has been proudly serving Haverford Township for over 100 years. The fire company was founded on December 18, 1912.
Oakmont has over 40 active firefighters and 62 life members that have completed 25 years of active service to the fire company.
Oakmont is actively involved in the community. They participate in events hosted at the fire house for the 4th of July, fire prevention week, 9/11 remembrance, Santa Sunday and Memorial Day remembrance. They also participate in events for other firehouses, including parades and milestone celebrations.
Oakmont Fire Company has many dedicated men that continue to help make the fire house #1 year after year.
