Welcome to the the Monnmouth Museum, a Museum of Ideas, a children's Museum, an adult's Museum and a family Museum.
As Monmouth County’s only multi-faceted museum, the purpose of the Monmouth Museum is to promote and support activities which enhance the understanding and appreciation of artistic, cultural, historical and scientific endeavors.
Providing an unmatched experience in our geographic area to enjoy cultural programming normally only available when visiting large cities. The Museum facility includes five exhibition spaces/galleries: the 2,300 Main Gallery which presents changing arts, science, history exhibitions; the 950 Nilson Gallery which presents the works of NJ artists; the 2,400 Becker Children's Wing which presents rotating educational programs for school-age children; the WonderWing, a large permanent installation of an under-the-sea learning adventure for preschoolers; and the newly added Meyer Art & Nature Area which includes a beautiful garden, sculpture, painting and building areas and picnic tables for snacks and workshops.
