Forcum Lannom Contractors LLC

In 1911 Hilt Forcum founds the Obion Cooperage Co. Inc. in Obion, Tennessee. Three years later, in 1914 it became the Forcum-James Co. The firm engaged in the business of retail building materials and house construction. In the thirties, the construction business was expanded to include a multi-state highway and flood control construction operation.

In the mid-fifties, a spin-off reorganization occurred, and out of Forcum-James Co. came Forcum-Lannom Inc., a privately-held company that completed most types of buildings including municipal, commercial, institutional, utility and industrial construction.

In the late sixties, Forcum Lannom incorporated design-build delivery into its expertise and became an industrial focused contractor with approximately seventy-five percent of business volume in manufacturing facilities.

Over the next forty years, Forcum Lannom became one of the most widely respected leaders in the construction industry and continued its design-build industrial focus on a national basis.

Today, Forcum Lannom continues to be a nationally recognized contractor that specializes in fast-track design and construction of manufacturing and distribution facilities.
