Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties (Community Action) brings together community resources to reduce poverty. The nonpartisan, locally-run, private nonprofit provides early childhood education, energy services, financial independence training, and other services.
Community Action advocates on behalf of low-income families, children and individuals as we help them obtain health insurance, disability services, housing and food. In 2015 Community Action served more than 63,000 people.
Community Action is a strong member of the Saint Paul area with more than 250 employees and is part of the nation’s largest federally funded network of organizations whose sole purpose is to eliminate the causes and conditions of poverty.
