About our chef, Nick: After years of being in the kitchen with my grandfather and mother I found that I really enjoyed learning about the many ways of food preparation. In 1998 CaterMarin employed me as a preparation cook. It was during this time I realized that I wanted to pursue the science of food and in 2001 graduated from the California Culinary Academy. Following my graduation from the Academy I was advanced to CaterMarin’s Executive Chef. I am a person of integrity and believe deeply in treating others, as I want to be treated. I carry this philosophy to my three children. Nothing is asked of an employee that I am not willing to do myself. I see all co-workers as an equal, and as a result we have proudly executed events from 25 to 3000 guests.
