La Paz Community School was founded in 2007 in order to address fundamental socioeconomic and cultural gaps prevalent in a region struggling to cope with the balance of an agriculture and tourist economy. By integrating talented youth from the underprivileged, middle class, and upper class sector of rural Latin America, the school transforms student differences into strengths that foment rich and meaningful dialogue and experiences at all grade levels, thus preparing students to effectively confront global challenges.
La Paz Community School fue fundada en 2007, con el fin de acortar las brechas socioeconómicas y culturales fundamentales que prevalecen en una región que lucha por hacer frente a tanto a la agricultura como a la economía turística. Mediante la integración de los jóvenes con talento de una clase media más desfavorecidos, y el sector de clase alta de una América Latina rural, la escuela transforma las diferencias de los estudiantes en fortalezas que fomentan el diálogo y la experiencia enriquecedora y significativa en todos los grados, preparando de esta manera a los estudiantes para enfrentar con eficacia los desafíos globales.
