Ladd Engineering Associates Inc

History:
In 1938 Edward J. Ladd and Landstreet formed a partnership, under the name Ladd Engineering Company, providing Engineering services related to WPA projects for municipal and county governments. In the late 1940's the primary direction of Ladd was toward Federal housing, municipal public works projects and the REA Electrical Program. With the inception of the REA Telephone Program in the early 1950's, Ladd migrated toward civil and telecommunications engineering.

In 1964 Ladd Engineering Associates, Inc. was formed with the original partners and Charles M. Landstreet, Sr. By 1976, Ladd found itself devoting all of its practice to telecommunications engineering.

In 1991, Ladd merged with Consolidated Design Consultants in Kentucky forming the basis for the telecommunications organization that exists today.

Ladd employs over 70 people who provide engineering and consulting services to more than 20 independent telephone companies throughout the southeastern United States.

Ladd's growth has evolved as a result of repeat business, reputation and ability to deliver a project based upon the highest level of the engineering profession and with the latest technical data currently available.
