Move It Storage is a group privately owned companies chartered to acquire and manage self-storage facilities. A. Starke “Tracy” Taylor, III, founded the Move It companies in 2013 as a new venture after a four-decade partnership in the storage industry operating under the tradename Watson & Taylor Self Storage. Over forty years, Watson & Taylor acquired and developed multiple asset classes of real estate, including developing, acquiring, operating, and selling more than 100 self-storage properties. Move It’s senior management team are all Watson & Taylor alumni. Since its founding, Move It has leveraged institutional memory, industry relationships, and capital sources to grow to manage 85 locations in Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
Move It manages approximately million net rentable square feet of storage and 34,000 tenants. The aim of business is to provide outstanding value and service in the self storage industry. Through its strateigic relationship with National Storage Affiliates Trust (NYSE: NSA), Move It has been recognized part of MINICO’s Top 10 Operators in the United States.
