Rosebower Baptist Church

Vision

The vision and greatest desire for Rosebower Baptist Church is to actively pursue God the Father, and be obedient to His Word! We are committed to glorify Him through worship, discipleship, and fellowship. There are three key phrases that both outline and represent the core of our vision.

Establishing Hearts (Matt 28:18-20)

We fully understand the command of God to make disciples of Jesus Christ. At RBC, we envision God multiplying disciples, and it is our sincere prayer that the Spirit of God saves and transforms over 75 souls, and leads more than 100 people to believer’s baptism over the next 5 years. As disciples are multiplied by God the Father, and the Body of Christ is being edified through careful and intentional discipleship, we envision God multiplying our church by reaching 40 new non- churched families and bringing more than 400 people together for our Sunday morning worship.

Equipping Homes (Deut 6:4-9)

Equipping disciples is a priority at RBC and we feel like the greatest discipleship happens in the homes. In five years we see families growing stronger because our men will be growing stronger in their personal relationship with the Lord. We see discipleship growing deeper in our small group Sunday School classes in order to train up and prepare the next generation of leaders and Christians.

Extending Hands (Acts 1:8)

As we glorify God the Father by extending the transforming grace of God, and we edify the Body of Christ by training and equipping believers to grow in their relationship with Christ, we believe that God will lead us to extend our hands in acts of service and love for His great purpose. We envision not only disciples being multiplied and our church growing but we also envision churches being multiplied. We believe that God will not only bring us in and train us up, but that He will send us out to the nations for the Glory of God! We pray that God will develop and send out three missionaries from our church. We also envision RBC planting one new church from the ground up in the next 5 years in order to reach the least of these with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the next 5 years we will give away more than $600, from our church for local missions and foreign missions, to care for the orphans, to reach the oppressed, to shelter the homeless and reach the lowest of lows for the cause of Christ.

We envision that through the power of God, Rosebower Baptist Church will make an impact not only on McCracken County, but the ends of the Earth for the Glory of God!
