Quick Service Litho Printing was started on October 30, 1950 by Ivan Gribskov. The name indicated fast turnaround using offset printing. At the beginning, QSL was the only offset printer in the Eugene/Springfield area. Other printers were still printing by letterpress. QSL was the first printer in the area to purchase a four-color offset press and was a leader in digital printing. After diversifying into photography and publishing the name was changed to QSL Communications and now has been refined to QSL Print Communications. QSL has always been a leader in technology in our area. QSL was also one of the first printers to provide mailing services. Ivan Gribskov was the President of QSL until June 1988, when Pete Gribskov was elected President. Doug Koke purchased the company in February 2007.
