William F. Scanlon, PT Owner and Head Physical Therapist Bill Scanlon is a 1989 graduate of Northeastern University. He has worked in a variety of settings prior to opening his private practice in 1992. Bill specializes in treating orthopedic injuries and enjoys working with patients of all ages. In spring of 2009, Bill expanded and remodeled his office to accommodate the patient caseload while still maintaining a friendly feel. Bill enjoys running and working out to stay fit. He is also an avid Boston sports fan. Bill is a big family man, spending a lot of time with his wife (who is a JP native) and five children.
Laura A. Hennessy, DPT Physical Therapist Laura is a new full time addition to the Scanlon Physical Therapy practice. She graduated from Northeastern University in 2011 with her clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy. She has worked at Scanlon Physical Therapy as a student for the past 3 years. Laura has clinical experience working within outpatient and inpatient settings treating a wide variety of ages and diagnoses. She expresses a large interest treating orthopedics and sports injuries in addition to wound care therapy. Laura enjoys baking and spending time with family and friends. She grew up in Connecticut, however is a big Boston Red Sox fan. Laura has always enjoyed playing softball and trying new athletic endeavors such as dodge ball and snowboarding.
