Dr. Bala spend her formative years in Albania before moving to the United States in 2004 to pursue educational opportunities in the medical field-as she always believed that education is both an investment on the future and a lifestyle.
Upon arrival to the United States, she enrolled at City College of New York where she was honored by receiving scholarships and fellowships for academic excellence. She immersed herself in countless hours of research in microbiology and neuroscience and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science.
She taught chemistry and biology as a Teacher’s assistant at The City College of New York and New York City College of Technology where she honed her ability to brake down complex terms and procedures in a way that can be best understood and practice by her patients.
Dr. Bala obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry in 2017. While at NYU College of Dentistry, she was part of the summer Urgent Care and Aesthetic Honors Program. After earning her Doctorate degree, she completed a general practice residency at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in 2018.
Dr. Bala has been practicing dentistry in the Philadelphia area for over one year. She goes to great lengths to ensure that her patients obtain the best dental care as she believes that the service of a dentist rises above restoring smiles and contributes towards enhanced confidence and overall health.
