What makes us different?

At our office we strive to perform all aspects of dentistry at a high level. Excellent dentistry should: 1. Be healthy and feel good, 2. Last a long time, 3. Look great. We take extra steps to make sure your dentistry is DONE RIGHT the FIRST TIME, saving you time and money in the long run. Many people are content to only have dentistry done that is quick and covered by their insurance. They have little basis on which to judge the quality of what actually is in their mouth. Our entire staff takes the extra time and performs all steps necessary to provide you with the most careful and precise treatment. So what does that mean?

Cleanliness – We pride ourselves on meeting or exceeding the required OSHA standards for your safety. Our treatment rooms are disinfected three times after each patient. Our handpieces and instruments are steam sterilized after each patient.

Materials – We don't skimp on quality when it comes to the best materials for cavity detection, impressions, fillings, and crowns.

Labs – We use some of the best labs available. We have consistently received high marks from our labs for the quality of preps that we send them. We precisely carve and inspect each prep under 25X magnification to insure that your restorations will have the best fit possible. This extra work translates into your restorations lasting longer than average.

Fillings – We use the extra methods of trans-illumination and cavity detecting dyes to make sure that all decay is removed. We also routinely use the rubber dental dam when placing bonded fillings. These extra measures take longer, but will provide you with a restoration that lasts longer and is less likely to cause you problems in the future. Our office has successfully been placing tooth reinforcing bonded white fillings for over twenty five years.

Experience – Our dental team has a combined experience of 122 years in dental practice. Dr. Moore has well over 1000 hours of continuing education over his 35 years of dentistry, and is one a handful of dentists in the United States and Canada to be granted the post graduate Certificate in Esthetic Dentistry from the Esthetic Dentistry Education Center at SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy (IDT) – Dr. Moore is a founding member of a regional IDT team that deals with the diagnosis, treatment planning and logical treatment of complex dental situations. Other IDT team members include dental specialists in periodontics (gum treatment), orthodontics, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery and implants. No case is too challenging for IDT review. As a patient of Dr. Moore, you will benefit from the collective wisdom and experience of the entire IDT team. Even if you think your teeth are hopeless, you may benefit from our team of experts reviewing your case. All this for no additional fee.
