In 1930 Sam Posen makes the first hearing aid to help his friend enjoy life a little more. In 1940 Beltone is officially formed as a company in Chicago, Illinois. At that time we introduced the Model H hearing aid. In 1958 we introduce the first behind the ear hearing aid, called the Minuet. By 1961 Beltone is represented in 38 countries and has now introduced the first in the ear hearing aid. In 1990 we began to introduce the first digital hearing aids, at this point we transformed into the industry leader in small completely in canal hearing aids. In 2000 Beltone is sold to GN Store Nord. Beltone continues as an independent brand within the corporate frames of GN. In 2004 we launched the Edge, which allowed us to be the leading in the industry for open fit hearing aids. In 2007 we launched the Marq which was the worlds smallest Receiver-In-Ear hearing instrument at the time. in 2009 we introduced the first Mic-In-Concha technology which set a new standard for natural sounding amplification, wind noise reduction and minimal size. In 2010 we introduced the Beltone True featuring the industry's first Ghz wireless technology for its direct line of wireless hearing instrument accessories. Between 2013 and 2015 Beltone introduced a revolutionary Made for Iphone hearing aid, a super power hearing aid also compatible with the Iphone and in 2014 the Boost won the prestigous Red Dot Award for Product Design. In 2015 Beltone celbrated it's 75th year anniversary by introducing the Legend. This has proven to be the most comprehensive and personalized hearing aid product line on the market. Just three weeks ago in May of 2016 the Legend line won a Stevie award for best new health product of the year. Beltone has a long rich history and we hope you decide to join in our future.
