Here are just a few picks from Celia Landry, the coordinator of our North Louisiana Lobby Days. All of her clinics were challenged to pick a theme that supports home dialysis and would allow both patients and staff members to participate. Some of themes so far have been: Kidney Luau; Lucky to be Home; Feeling at Home is Therapy; and Wizard of Oz...follow the Yellow Brick Road to Home Therapy. These clinics definitely went above and beyond with their Lobby Days. Great job! #heartyourkidneys #NationalKidneyMonth

Check with your physician before taking any prescribed or over-the-counter pain medicines. #NationalKidneyMonth†twitter.com/i/web/status/8…

Be careful about taking certain over-the-counter pain medicines too often. These medicines are called NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Examples are ibuprofen or naproxen (such as Advil, Motrin, Aleve). Check with your physician before you start both prescribed and over-the-counter pain medicine. #NationalKidneyMonth #heartyourkidneys
