Founded in 1890 by John S. Giles, we have evolved with the world’s packaging needs over the last 100+ years--moving from glass to metal to plastic. Phoenix is now managed by the sixth generation of the Giles family and is the largest privately-held closure manufacturer in North America.
In July 2012, we opened our fourth manufacturing site in Greencastle, Indiana. This plant joins our Naperville, IL; Davenport, IA; and Newport, TN locations. In addition, we also have a Distribution Center in Ontario, CA to help service the needs of our customers west of the Rocky Mountains.
