Our goal at Youth & Family Services is to ensure that all children grow up with hope for their future. As the world changes, many children in our community face a myriad of challenges. By offering children the support and services they need, we allow them the ability to focus more on the importance of their dreams and provide hope for a brighter tomorrow.
YFS has grown to become one of the largest, most comprehensive youth development organizations in South Dakota. What began as Girls Club of Rapid City in 1965 has grown to encompass eight cohesive programs that provide educational activities, meals and snacks, health advocacy and support, counseling services, father-focused programming, parent enrichment education, and prevention programs for more than 14,000 children and their families across 24 western South Dakota counties annually.
