YOUR CANDIDATE FOR CITY CLERK OF BOONEVILLE

As a third generation Arkansan and having lived in Booneville for all of my 37 years, I feel strongly connected to our community. A Booneville Bearcat through and through, I am a proud member of the BHS Graduating Class of 1995 and a 1999 Graduate of Westark College (now the U of A Fort Smith) with an Associate's Degree in Business.

My husband Albert and I have been married for 16 years and share three wonderful children. Our two youngest are also proud Bearcats and attend Booneville schools. Our oldest is a recent graduate from UAFS. My parents Louie and Opal Trickett have resided in Booneville for over 50 years and have worked within our community all that time. Booneville has been an important part of my life in so many ways.

My family and I have been members of Glendale Baptist Church in Booneville for the past 4 years. Alongside my husband, we serve as Sunday school teachers for the 4th-6th grade group at Glendale. I also volunteer in Glendale’s new 5th and 6th grade ministry called “CrossRoads” that was implemented last September.

I have continued learning in my current position by attending the Arkansas Baptist State Convention’s Office Ministry University for the past two years. I currently serve on the Missions Committee and Women’s Ministry Committee with my church. With the help of Glendale’s Women’s Committee, myself and another member lead the Chocolate for Charity annual fundraiser for our local women’s shelter. Currently I am serving as Nominating Committee alternate for the Association of Arkansas Baptist Secretaries.

God has given me the opportunity to serve many in our community through my position as a church secretary and I am confident I can set forth on an even larger scale and serve the citizens of our city as your next City Clerk of Booneville.

I am proud to have had the blessing to work within jobs that have supported our community and I am very excited to step forward with this new possibility. I ask that each of you pray for all the candidates in the months ahead. Thank you to all who took the time to sign my petition in order to have my name added to the ballot. I have already received an outpouring of support and I would greatly appreciate your vote for City Clerk of Booneville in the General Election on November 4th.
