Donka, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501(c)3, organization. Since 1987, we have been “changing the lives of persons with disabilities through technology.” Our founder, Don Van Haveren, was inspired to organize Donka through interactions with persons with physical and/or visual disabilities while volunteering at the DuPage County Convalescent Center. He was confident that training them to use standard computer applications through assistive technology would change their lives in ways they never thought possible. He was right; and we at Donka are committed to carrying out his legacy.
