The Georgia Karting Complex has a rich tradition of hosting some of America's most popular karting events. In the days before "mega series" and "mega races", GKK had long been established as a premier facility. The DynoCams Tri-State Series was born in Carnesville, GA. Under the guidance of Troy Duncan, this series has become the most prominent series in the country, consistently attracting racers from all over the country to compete best against the best.
The annual Thanksgiving Thunder has become the largest outdoor karting event in America, drawing an international field of racers to Carnesville for the holidays. Thousands flock to this event every year. In 2015, Thanksgiving Thunder drew over 2,400 entries
