Greer's Heating and Air Conditioning was starting in 1950 by Jimmy Greer in Canton, IL. After teaching his son's the trade Jimmy fell ill and his son Kent Greer took over the family business and began following in his father's steps. In 1997, Kent acquired a small AC company based out of Lancaster, CA called Banner Air and merged the two companies together to form Greer's Banner Air. In 2003 he incorporated the company to its present name Greer's Banner Air of Bakersfield, Inc. Most recently Kent's only daughter has entered the trade after graduating from BC and CSUB and together they are carrying on the tradition of local family values based on honest service and competitive pricing.
