#2017 Student Spotlight It's Thankful Thursday! Thankful for having such wonderful students, soon to be AuD's, especially this one! Samantha Lenzini is a 4th year audiology student at Illinois State University and is currently completing her externship at Audiology Associates in Santa Rosa, California. Samantha received her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Miami University of Ohio. Here's what she has to say about the future of this profession: I am excited to be a part of the future of audiology where audiologists may provide a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services consistent with our scope of practice. In the future, I hope to see audiologists who are involved and engaged in advances in the field. I would like to see more people in our communities who are knowledgeable and aware of the benefits of hearing evaluations as well as hearing protection. Most importantly, I see audiologists continuing to touch and influence countless numbers of people through true passion and care for patients. Let hear it for Samantha!
